NY Electronic Underground is hosting PLUSHSTATIC II, The second episode of the PLUSH SOUND EXPERIENCE. This is a way underground ambient pillow party. We invite you to come and relax to an evening of deep listening music and noise and visuals. This will be a small intimate event where guests are encouraged to take their shoes off and recline on comfy pillows and air mattresses.
There will be four performances throughout the evening. Each with a distinct flavor and feeling. This music and visuals experience is geared toward total sensory immersion and deep listening. Each sound performance will be have a visuals component. The environment will be conducive to relaxation and meditative listening. This evening’s performances will include: Champagne Sequins, SMOMID, The Secret Cult of INFINITE KITTEN and PLAN 23.
PLAN 23: Psychedelic music for the 21st century. This seminal noize act will round out the evening with their unique sound. They will get inside your head and wipe away your troubles and worries. MORE INFO: http://Plan23.net/
The Secret Cult of INFINITE KITTEN: This Brooklyn based A/V act consists of n8tronick on audio and RGB Values on visuals. N8tronick is a dynamic audio experimentalist who explores noize and frequency to bring the listeners on a journey into the inner recesses of the mind. RGB Values takes video from her everyday life and mutates it into something beyond the human mind’s ability to comprehend. All of her visuals are audio reactive and explore the convergence of sound and image. The audience will experience synaesthesia without being in an altered state. SMOMID: Slow Binaural beats, meant to slow your brain frequency down to a meditative state, accompanied by filtered white noise and enveloped in lush, spacious reverb. MORE INFO: https://smomid.com/
Champagne Sequins: This experimental musician and instrument designer is responsible for every aspect of the sound you will hear. He designs his own circuits for his synths and effects. He builds the cases to put them in and composes and performs music on modular synths that were 100% designed by him. Join us as he explores the intimacy of this sound experience.
